A wonderful place where you get more than your money’s worth and immediately feel at home.
Vera and Erwin are very friendly and welcoming hosts. We arrived late in the evening, but that was absolutely no problem. Communication was excellent. The house was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The children really enjoyed being able to use the pool at the mini campsite.
Vera and Erwin are very approachable and know the area extremely well. There’s a whole folder ready with tips for excursions and restaurants. We stayed here with our family (my husband, myself, and our five adventurous teenagers) and we absolutely loved it! Everything was perfect.

The ultimate off grid nature experience in the former communist heart of Albania. Here it feels as if time has stopped and people still live in the 70s. Vera and Erwin are very welcoming and open hearted hosts with a lot of knowledge about the history of Albania and especially this area. We stayed for 3 days in their beautiful, rustique guest house, did an amazing hike, encountered breathtaking landscapes, admired the many birds, olive and grape yards, fig, pomegranate and mulberry trees. There are many turtles too! We explored the small villages in the region, where tourism is still completely absent and bought tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers on the local market that tasted just amazing, as they are all homegrown - and they cost nothing. Also the pure well water tastes amazing. The locals are very friendly and easy going, some of them speak a few words English, but most of them don't. Here you can really merge with nature and have the full off grid experience. We love to come back one day to visit the holy mountain Tomor. Highly recommended!"
